We take each gold piece, and first look for any stamps that identify the gold purity. These are usually 10k, 14k, 18k, and 22k. Please note that gold jewelry is not 100% gold. The stamps tell us the purity, with the higher numbers containing more gold.
We test the gold pieces to find out what they are, and then we weigh the gold. After weighing the gold, we form a quote based on the amount of gold you have in your jewelry. These prices are based on the current price of gold in the stock market.
